Ingredients
1lt double cream
10 eggs
150g caster sugar
Method
Preheat the oven to 150C.
Line a baking tray with baking parchment.
Cut Bara brith into slices and butter one side.
Lay sliced bara brith flat on a tray and build up staggered like brick work.
Mix the cream, eggs and sugar together then pour over the bara brith.
Leave for 30 minutes to soak up all the cream before baking in the oven for about 30 to 40 minutes.
