Onion Bhaji
Ingredients
75g Plain flour
Heaped table spoon of Cumin
Heaped table spoon of Turmeric
Heaped table spoon of Curry powder
Half a tea spoon of chilli powder
Half a tea spoon of black pepper
Quarter a tea spoon of salt
1 large egg
Some milk
1 large onion or 2 small onions, chopped.
Method
Mix everything together except for the onions until it’s like a paste. If the paste is to dry then add a few drops of milk. Add chopped onions and mix together well. Leave to settle for about an hour.
Cook using a deep fryer. Depending on the fryer cook between 160 and 180 you don’t want the onion bhajis to cook to quick otherwise the middle wont cook I (recommend trying 1 out on 160 first)
